Looking for quick finishing off skill.
I love my ranger spiker. With rtw my arrows always hit. And punishing shot is fantastic.
The problem is when I unload all my energy in a string of attacks on a caster, I have to wait a couple seconds for my energy to recharge do a decent level.
The caster meanwhile gets healed and I do the same thing over again until I eventually kill him.
I need a secondary skill for my ranger that finishes someone off quite quickly with low attribute points, low energy, and not an elite.
I know it's a lot to ask.. it also needs to cast quick cause the point is to take them out when my ranger attacks are recharging.
Thanks!

If you want to precast it phantom pain could do then at the end hit shatter delusions - nice deep wound spike. Five energy, 1/4 second cast - the problem is you have to precast phantom pain before the spike.

Though it requires 2 slots, phantom pain/shatter delusions is a good suggestion. You don't even have to spec that much into domination- the real hit is from the deep wound, and any damage shatter delusions brings in is just icing for your deathcake. The downside is that it costs 15 e to cast both, and expertise isn't helping you.

As a "Quick Finishing" move, Barbed Signet wouldn't be appropriate, 2 second cast time wouldn't do the trick.
I would also like to know what level of expertise you run, running a higher level may mean you don't require this extra skill.
Also: If you aren't already running this I suggest doing: Read the Wind, Dual Shot, Punishing Shot, and then Savage. That's pretty quick damage although I fail to see how you could solo spike a monk with it...

Well a good question first off is how much expertise do u have...u shouldnt be running out of energy in one string of attacks with a typical ranger spike build...im guessing u run with dual, punishing, savage, rtw?

The answer is more Expertise and possibly a zealous mod.

Roger that. Look at expertise breakpoints, works out what level best suits the skills you are using.

If by "quick" you also are implying that the damage doesn't need to be very high, Banish is decent. 5 energy, almost instant cast, fairly fast recovery.
If you use a lot of energy because you're spending it on interrupting the elly, try running Concussion Shot as your anti-caster interrupt and Punishing as an anti-signet/skill interrupt.
